CAD Paper

Large format inkjet printing has its origins in the classic CAD applications , with inkjet replacing the traditional pen plotter over 20 years ago.  Today, the demand for high quality media for 2D mono and colour plan printing is as high as ever.  The Indigo CAD media collection meets this demand by providing high quality CAD media in both cut sheet and roll formats.

A range of sizes are available from A4 to A0 and roll media from 17 inches to 60 inches wide in both coated and uncoated finishes. A range of weights from 80gsm to 180gsm are also available.

Where quick, low cost printing is needed, uncoated media is ideal for everyday plan and 3D line draft printing, with weights ranging from 75gsm to 90gsm.  Coated media is suitable for most 2D and 3D plan drawings with high resolution line quality and colour area fills.  With a range of weights up to 180gsm, you’re sure to find the ideal media for routine colour design and plan printing that requires colour fills in 2D and simple 3D projections.  If you need full renders and photographic simulation of designs, then photo papers are the best solution.

2D mono and colour line drawing plans and designs – matt coated and uncoated media are ideal for these types of prints, giving low cost high quality results.

2D and 3D colour designs – heavier weight papers are best for any print application that lays down more ink such as colour area fills or tonal shading.  Matt coated and uncoated papers are available in weights up to 180gsm.

Colour renders – Photo papers are available in gloss, semi-gloss and satin finishes and come in weights up to 240gsm, they enable modern technical printers to output to the highest quality and create powerful images to help convey the complete design.
